The Steering Committee of the Cooperazione Italiana programme devoted to the support of Serbian public administration, with close to 7.5 Million Euros in funds, successfully took place today at Serbia Palace.
Ambassador of Italy in Belgrade Giuseppe Manzo underlined the positive outcome of today’s steering committee, launching a new phase of this programme supporting Serbian Administrations in the implementation of increasingly modern and EU-compliant standards. By mid July, Serbian Ministries will have to formally submit their requests for support through the Serbian European Integration Office (SEIO).
Cooperazione Italiana is also active supporting Serbian Small and Medium Entreprises and Municipalities, through a 30 Million Euro credit line now in its second edition and accessible through local retail banks (www.italiancreditlineserbia.org).
Cooperazione Italiana, one of the leading donors to Serbia, is focussed on support to growth and to Serbia’s EU integration path.
