Beograd, – U Italijanskom kulturnom centru u Beogradu danas je odr\u017eana nau\u010dna konferencija posve\u0107ena medicinskim istra\u017eivanjima u terapiji protiv tumora, u okviru ciklusa susreta „Italy meets Serbia“, koju promovi\u0161u ambasada Italije i Asocijacija italijanskih i srpskih nau\u010dnika i istra\u017eiva\u010da (AIS3).<\/p>\n

Istaknuti italijanski i srpski eksperti razgovarali su o inovativnim terapijama u le\u010denju oboljenja od kancera i jasno su prepoznali nova polja bilateralne saradnje u oblasti obuke o najmodernijim tehnologijama u radioterapiji i nuklearnoj fizici, saop\u0161tila je italijanska ambasada.<\/p>\n

Dana\u0161nji susret je konkretno svedo\u010danstvo o izuzetnoj i dinami\u010dnoj nau\u010dnoj saradnji izme\u0111u Italije i Srbije, a veliki korak \u0107e biti na\u010dinjen 16. novembra kada \u0107e biti potpisan novi Izvr\u0161ni program sa ustanovljenim zajedni\u010dkim istra\u017eiva\u010dkim projektima koji \u0107e se realizovati u periodu 2016-2018, izjavio je ambasador \u0110uzepe Manco.<\/p>\n

Prema njegovim re\u010dima, medicina i javno zdravlje su prioritetne oblasti za saradnju.<\/p>\n

„Posebno, preno\u0161enje osnovnih nau\u010dnih otkri\u0107a, u fizici i u hemiji, i njihova medicinska primena su su\u0161tinske teme i to ne samo za na\u0161e dve zemlje“, dodao je on.<\/p>\n

Na nau\u010dnoj konferenciji posve\u0107enoj translacionim istra\u017eivanjima u onkolo\u0161koj oblasti, realizovanoj uz nau\u010dnu podr\u0161ku Instituta za nuklerna istra\u017eivanja \u201cVin\u010da\u201d, Italijanskog instituta za nuklearnu fiziku (INFN) i Onkolo\u0161kog centra u Avijanu (CRO), u\u010destvovali su istaknuti italijanski i srpski stru\u010dnjaci iz klini\u010dkih i istra\u017eiva\u010dkih instituta.<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Italian Language Week just ended last Friday . And today we are ready to re-start our common action with this meeting on translational research in the field of oncology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 This time we are glad to inaugurate the \u201cMonth of Italian \u2013 Serbian Scientific Cooperation<\/strong>\u201d, which will culminate with the signing of a new cooperation program<\/strong>, which identifies joint research projects to be implemented in the period 2016-2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 This is a solid evidence \u2013 the concrete scientific proof, I would say<\/strong> \u2013 of a bilateral cooperation that is going through a moment of extraordinary vitality<\/strong> . All this is well demonstrated by the success of the projects implemented by the First Executive Program<\/strong>. These are projects will be concluded by 2015 and their results will be presented next November 16th<\/strong> in an event organized by the Embassy together with the Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Incidentally, in the First Executive Program we count the 3 important projects carried on by researchers of the Vinca Institute<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 And just in Vinca, last February<\/strong>, on the occasion of my visit, the idea of this meeting<\/strong> came from. It\u2019s a promise we kept<\/strong>, thanks to the work of Serbian and Italian researchers that I greet and thank for being here<\/strong>. And so I also want to express my appreciation for the active and effective role that the association AIS3 is playing in strengthening and promoting scientific and technological cooperation between our two countries.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Medicine and Public Health are priority areas<\/strong> for our cooperation. In particular, the transfer<\/strong> of discoveries from basic sciences, physics and chemistry, to medical applications is a central issue not only for Italy and Serbia. And it’s encouraging to see gathered here in Belgrade authoritative experts from prestigious clinical and research institutions of our two countries<\/strong>, working actively on this issue.<\/p>\n

\u2022 In this regard, I wish to quote the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> recently addressing the conference of Italian Science Attache: \u201cWe are living in a world with no particular barriers, where there are circulation and exchange of knowledge , economies and people, we must see all this as great opportunities\u201d<\/p>\n
