ZAJEDNI\u010cKA IZJAVA VLADA FRANCUSKE, NEMA\u010cKE, ITALIJE, UJEDINJENOG KRALJEVSTVA I SJEDINJENIH DR\u017dAVA, 13. avgust 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vlade Francuske, Nema\u010dke, Italije, Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i Sjedinjenih Dr\u017eava ujedinjene su u nameri da se postigne puna normalizacija u odnosima Beograda i Pri\u0161tine kroz sveobuhvatni, politi\u010dki odr\u017eiv i pravno obavezuju\u0107i sporazum koji \u0107e doprineti regionalnoj stabilnosti. Status quo onemogu\u0107ava napredak Kosova i Srbije ka \u010dlanstvu u Evropskoj uniji i jednostavno nije odr\u017eiv. Nakon godina stagnacije do\u0161lo je vreme da se stavi ta\u010dka na sukobe iz 90-ih i da se kroz pregovore u duhu dobre volje postigne sporazum prihvatljiv obema stranama koji \u0107e obezbediti bezbednu i prosperitetnu budu\u0107nost za gra\u0111ane Kosova i Srbije.<\/p>\n

Stoga pozivamo Kosovo i Srbiju da \u0161to je br\u017ee mogu\u0107e obnove dijalog pod okriljem EU i tra\u017eimo da se obe strane uzdr\u017ee od preduzimanja koraka koji onemogu\u0107avaju postizanje sporazuma koji je neophodan obema dr\u017eavama u cilju postizanja \u0161irih evroatlantskih integracija i svih prate\u0107ih pogodnosti.<\/p>\n

Spremni smo da kroz podr\u0161ku visokom predstavniku EU pove\u0107amo na\u0161u ulogu u procesu ali to ne mo\u017eemo u\u010diniti sve dok obe strane ne poka\u017eu spremnost na kompromis, uklone prepreke i nastave da razgovaraju. Za Kosovo to zna\u010di ukidanje taksi koje je nametnulo Srbiji. Za Srbiju to zna\u010di prekid kampanje za povla\u010denje priznanja nezavisnosti Kosova.<\/p>\n

\u017delimo da gra\u0111ani Kosova i Srbije u\u017eivaju plodove odr\u017eivog mira i da imaju mogu\u0107nost da grade sopstvenu budu\u0107nost. Spremni smo da u tome pomognemo na svaki mogu\u0107i na\u010din.<\/p>\n

JOINT STATEMENT BY THE GOVERNMENTS OF FRANCE, GERMANY, ITALY, THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE UNITED STATES, August 13, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

The governments of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States stand united in our aim to see the full normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia via a comprehensive, politically sustainable, and legally binding agreement that contributes to regional stability. The status quo prevents progress on Kosovo\u2019s and Serbia\u2019s path towards the European Union (EU) and is simply not sustainable. After years of stagnation, the time has come to finally end the conflicts of the 1990s and provide a secure and prosperous future for the people of Kosovo and Serbia by negotiating in good faith an agreement that both sides can support.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we call on Kosovo and Serbia to restart the EU-led Dialogue with urgency and ask that both parties avoid actions that will hinder a final agreement, which is necessary for both countries to achieve greater Euro-Atlantic integration and its accompanying benefits.<\/p>\n

We are prepared to step up our role in the process in support of the EU High Representative, but we cannot do so until you both signal a willingness to compromise, remove obstacles and resume discussions. For Kosovo, that means suspending the tariffs imposed on Serbia. For Serbia, that means suspending the de-recognition campaign against Kosovo.<\/p>\n

We want to see the people of Kosovo and Serbia benefit from a lasting peace and have the opportunity to build their own futures.
