AN ACTIVATOR WORKSHOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IED \u2013 Istituto Europeo di Design, within the framework of the Global Goals Jam and the New European Bauhaus projects, presents Design for Sustainable Change, a one-day event where creative students and young professionals are invited to work together on local challenges related to the UNDP Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event is organised in collaboration with the <strong>Embassy of Italy in Belgrade<\/strong> and the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute<\/strong> and will take place on Saturday <strong>21st May<\/strong>, from 10.00am until 5.00pm, at the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade<\/strong> (Kneza Milo\u0161a 56).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nowadays we are dealing with human interdependence, digital interconnectivity, technological advances and more broadly globalization as never before. This has brought deep and complex environmental, social and economic challenges. Within this scenario, what can design and creativity do to support positive change and wellbeing for people and the planet?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Design for Sustainable Change is an interdisciplinary hands-on workshop exploring methodologies beyond human-centred to reflect, engage and ideate possible solutions for a better world \u2013 starting from our everyday actions. The workshop will be moderated by:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Simona Maccagnani<\/strong> \u2013 Head of the Research Centre at IED and SDGs Expert<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Italo Marseglia<\/strong> \u2013 Fashion Consultant and SDGs Expert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participation is <strong>free of charge<\/strong> but places are limited; <strong>registration is mandatory<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ied.edu\/design-for-sustainable-change-an-activator-worskshop\">https:\/\/www.ied.edu\/design-for-sustainable-change-an-activator-worskshop<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All participants are kindly requested to bring their own <strong>laptop<\/strong>. More details will follow upon registration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Global Goals Jam (GGJ)<\/strong> is a two day event where creative teams work together on local challenges related to the UNDP Sustainable Development Global Goals. Using a tailored toolkit, cross-disciplinary teams worldwide create interventions aimed at short term targets in support of the long term goals. The project is led by Digital Society School (Amsterdam) and IED is the local organizer for Italy (Milan &#038; Rome).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The New European Bauhaus (NEB)<\/strong> is \u201ca creative and interdisciplinary movement, convening a space of encounter to design future ways of living, situated at the crossroads between art, culture, social inclusion, science and technology\u201d. IED will actively participate in the NEB movement by engaging its cross-sectorial communities and networks to ground the initiative locally and beyond European borders.
