\u201cFuture challenges of Physics – New opportunities for cooperation in science between Italy and Serbia\u201d<\/p>\n

Le sfide future della Fisica \u2013 Nuove opportunit\u00e0 di cooperazione scientifica tra Italia e Serbia<\/em><\/p>\n

Il seminario (in lingua inglese) si svolger\u00e0 venerd\u00ec 1 dicembre 2023<\/strong>, a partire dalle ore 11.00<\/strong>, presso il Rettorato dell’Universit\u00e0 di Belgrado<\/strong>, Studentski trg 1, Aula Magna, 2\u00b0 piano.<\/p>\n

L’evento ospita la cerimonia della firma del nuovo Accordo di cooperazione scientifica<\/strong> tra l’Universit\u00e0 di Belgrado, la Facolt\u00e0 di Fisica e l’Istituto di Fisica di Belgrado e l’Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare italiano. L\u2019accordo mira a porre le basi per rafforzare e ampliare una fruttuosa cooperazione nella ricerca di base e interdisciplinare, unendo le forze delle istituzioni italiane e serbe per affrontare frontalmente le future sfide scientifiche.<\/p>\n

I relatori toccheranno lo stato dell’arte e le prospettive della ricerca in fisica e della ricerca interdisciplinare.<\/p>\n

Le loro competenze offriranno punti di vista approfonditi sulle aree prioritarie di cooperazione dell’accordo, vale a dire la fisica delle onde gravitazionali, con un focus sul progetto Einstein Telescope, le nuove frontiere della fisica delle particelle, del calcolo ad alte prestazioni e del calcolo quantistico.<\/p>\n

The Embassy of Italy in Belgrade<\/strong> organises, in collaboration with the University of Belgrade<\/strong>, the Seminar:<\/p>\n

\u201cFuture challenges of Physics – New opportunities for cooperation in science between Italy and Serbia\u201d.<\/p>\n

The seminar takes place on\u00a0Friday 1st<\/sup> December\u00a02023<\/strong>, starting at\u00a011.00<\/strong>, at the Rectorate of University of Belgrade<\/strong>, Studentski trg 1, Main Hall, 2nd Floor.<\/p>\n

The event hosts the signing Ceremony<\/strong> of the new Agreement on Scientific Cooperation between the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Physics and the Institute of Physics Belgrade, and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics of Italy. The agreement aims to set the stage for reinforcing and broadening a fruitful cooperation in basic science and interdisciplinary research, uniting the strengths of Italian and Serbian institutions to tackle future scientific challenges head-on.<\/p>\n

The speakers will touch upon the state of the art and the perspectives of research in physics and interdisciplinary research.<\/p>\n

Their expertise will offer insightful viewpoints on the priority areas of cooperation of the agreement, namely gravitational wave physics, with a focus on the project Einstein Telescope, the new frontiers of particle physics, high-performance computing and quantum computing.<\/p>\n
