(CorD)<\/STRONG> Italy will take the EU Presidency later in 2014, and Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo believes that by focusing on two important six-letter words \u2013 \u2018Europe\u2019 and \u2018growth\u2019 \u2013 Serbia can unlock another with even greater importance: \u2018future\u2019<\/P>

A six-letter word, \u2018Europe\u2019, has been the priority in 2013. It will continue to be in 2014, together with another six-letter word, \u2018growth\u2019. The opening of accession negotiations between Serbia and the European Union is a historical achievement reached through commitment and delivery by the Serbian government. Leading the accession negotiations with Brussels in a constructive and fruitful way will be therefore a natural priority for Serbia in 2014. In fact, the negotiations will be a cornerstone of your government\u2019s action over the next months, providing guidance and political input to promote an agenda of reform.
At the same time, the economy and tackling the crisis is very high on Belgrade\u2019s agenda, especially through the adoption of those measures that will ensure growth, employment and a safe business climate for new investments in your country once fiscal consolidation has been achieved. These are priorities that Italy, which will take over the Presidency of the European Union in the second semester of 2014, shares with Serbia.<\/P>

L\u2019ANNO VENTURO: S.E. Sig. Giuseppe Manzo \/ Ambasciatore italiano in Serbia<\/STRONG><\/P>

(CorD)<\/STRONG> L\u2019Italia assumer\u00e0 la presidenza dell\u2019UE nel corso del 2014 e l\u2019Ambasciatore italiano Giuseppe Manzo ritiene a tale proposito che la Serbia, focalizzando la propria attenzione su due concetti importanti \u2013 \u201cEuropa\u201d e \u201ccrescita\u201d \u2013 possa acquisirne un terzo ancora pi\u00f9 significativo: \u201cfuturo\u201d.<\/P>

Una parola in particolare, \u201cEuropa\u201d, ha rappresentato la priorit\u00e0 nel 2013. E continuer\u00e0 ad esserlo ancora nel 2014, insieme ad un\u2019altra: \u201ccrescita\u201d. L\u2019apertura dei negoziati per l\u2019adesione della Serbia all\u2019Unione Europea \u00e8 un traguardo storico, raggiunto grazie all\u2019efficace impegno del governo serbo. Condurre i negoziati con Bruxelles in modo costruttivo e fruttuoso sar\u00e0, quindi, una priorit\u00e0 naturale per la Serbia nel 2014. I negoziati di adesione costituiranno infatti la pietra miliare delle attivit\u00e0 del governo nei prossimi mesi e forniranno altresi le linee guida ed il necessario stimolo politico per promuovere l\u2019agenda delle riforme.
Al contempo, l\u2019economia e la gestione della crisi rimarranno in cima alle priorit\u00e0 del governo serbo, specie attraverso l\u2019adozione di quelle misure che garantiscano la crescita, l\u2019occupazione e un clima sicuro per gli investimenti, che arriverranno quando la situazione in campo fiscale si sar\u00e0 stabilizzata. Queste sono le priorit\u00e0 che l\u2019Italia, che assumer\u00e0 la presidenza dell\u2019Unione Europea nel secondo semestre del 2014, condivide con la Serbia.<\/P>
