L’Ambasciatore Carlo Lo Cascio ha incontrato oggi il Presidente dell’Assemblea Nazionale Ivica Dacic alla vigilia della sua missione a Roma, nel corso della quale sarà ricevuto dal Presidente del Senato Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati e dal Presidente della Camera Roberto Fico.
Al centro dei colloqui il dialogo interpartitico e la riforma della giustizia, due prove importanti per il percorso europeo della Serbia che, come l’Ambasciatore Lo Cascio ha ricordato, l’Italia sostiene con convinzione.
Durante la sua visita a Roma, il Presidente Dacic avrà incontri anche col Ministro degli Esteri Luigi Di Maio e col Presidente della Commissione Esteri della Camera Piero Fassino.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with Italian Ambassador to Serbia
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio.
During the meeting, the officials discussed the bilateral cooperation and possibilities for furthering the already highly developed relations between Italy and Serbia. They agreed that National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic’s upcoming visit to Rome on 21-22 July 201, and the meetings with the President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Roberto Fico and President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Casellati would give special impetus to strengthening cooperation between the two parliaments.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic briefed the guest on the National Assembly’s current activities concerning constitutional amendments.
Responding to Ambassador Lo Cascio’s questions, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic informed the guest about the Inter-Party Dialogue, the plenary meeting held on 9-10 July 2021 in the presence of representatives of the European Parliament, and the dialogue in the National Assembly with the political party which object to foreign participation.
